Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between our technical solutions and customers’ business needs, leveraging both engineering expertise and sales acumen to drive growth. You will be responsible for identifying client requirements, delivering tailored technical presentations, and guiding prospects through the evaluation and adoption of our solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Pre-Sales Support

Act as a trusted technical advisor for prospective and existing clients.

Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-concept implementations.

Collaborate with account managers to develop proposals that address customer requirements.

Technical Expertise & Solution Development

Analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate technical solutions.

Customize product configurations and ensure seamless integration with client systems.

Provide in-depth product knowledge and competitive differentiation.

Sales Enablement & Business Development

Support the sales team in achieving revenue targets.

Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

Contribute to RFPs, RFIs, and tender processes with detailed technical input.

Customer Success & Post-Sales

Partner with implementation and support teams to ensure successful onboarding.

Provide training and documentation to clients.

Gather customer feedback to influence product development and improvements.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field 

Proven experience (3–5 years) in technical sales, solutions engineering, or pre-sales consulting.

Strong understanding of [insert industry-specific technology, e.g., SaaS, cloud, networking, manufacturing equipment].

Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.

Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving skills and customer-centric mindset.

Willingness to travel to client sites as required.

Key Skills

Technical knowledge in [industry-specific technologies].

Sales acumen and consultative selling approach.

Strong interpersonal skills and relationship-building ability.
