Job Description

  • Achieve the company targets in terms of Cost saving (PPV), Payment facilities and Ext……..
  • Ensure implementation of the company / purchasing policies (Purchasing policy / Procedure, Code of Conducts, conflict of interest, Separation of duties and Extr…..) within the DM & IDM team.
  • Assist the procurement manager to set the DM & IDM purchasing strategy for the managed commodities.
  • Assist the procurement manager to set the DM & IDM sourcing strategy for the assigned commodities.
  • Assist the procurement manager to prepare the DM & IDM annual Budget actions for the assigned commodities.
  • Execute actions to achieve, secure and exceed the budgeted savings.
  • Identify additional backup actions to recover deviation vs budget.
  • Analyze the market for potential new suppliers.
  • Control the RFQs (Request for quotations) to suppliers.
  • Negotiate prices, terms and conditions with Suppliers.
  • Assist the procurement manager to prepare the DM & IDM OGSM & 12 Months Cost saving Activity Plan.
  • Prepare the FBS and vendor selection criteria.
  • Assist the procurement manager to prepare the DM & IDM sourcing board meeting for supplier selection.
  • Develop and maintain a strong and reliable suppliers’ base.
  • Support Procurement Department Director in his\her tasks and objectives.
  • Ensure an up to date administration of documentation, databases and required reporting.
  • Provide the organization information to\from suppliers.
  • Day-to-day liaising  and support of planning and other functions in relation to their respective tasks.
  • Assist or contribute to assigned projects.
  • Monitor RM trends (LME & Price indicees) & Reports compiled by 3rd parties.

Job Requirements

  • BSc. Of Mechanical Engineering, Commercial, or Economic Studies.
  • Strong proficiency in Data Analysis tools such as Excel (business intelligence, & reporting).
  • Ability to interpret complex data & present clear insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, & report directly to senior leadership
