Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Supervise, train, and motivate a team of spa therapists, estheticians, massage therapists, receptionists, and other staff members.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to review performance, discuss client feedback, and provide guidance.
  • Ensure all team members provide exceptional service while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Customer Service:

  • Provide excellent guest experiences by addressing client concerns, booking appointments, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries, complaints, or special requests, and resolve any issues to their satisfaction.
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to elevate the customer experience.

Spa Operations:

  • Manage the daily operation of the spa, ensuring smooth scheduling of appointments and treatments.
  • Oversee inventory, ordering products, and ensuring the spa is stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Monitor the maintenance and cleanliness of the spa facilities, ensuring a pristine environment for all guests.

Financial & Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the spa’s budget, including forecasting revenue, controlling expenses, and maximizing profitability.
  • Analyze financial reports to identify trends, areas of improvement, and opportunities for growth.
  • Implement and track promotional campaigns and pricing strategies to drive sales and attract clients.

Marketing & Client Retention:

  • Create and implement marketing strategies to promote spa services, including social media, email newsletters, and community outreach.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and loyalty.
  • Develop and manage membership or loyalty programs to increase client retention.

Compliance & Health Standards:

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations concerning health, safety, and sanitation.
  • Monitor and enforce spa protocols, ensuring that all staff follow proper sanitation and hygiene practices.

Staff Scheduling & Payroll:

  • Create and manage employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels at all times.
  • Process payroll and monitor overtime or staffing issues, ensuring adherence to labor laws.

Training & Development:

  • Ensure continuous training of spa personnel on new services, techniques, and trends within the wellness industry.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching for professional development.

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Spa Manager or in a similar role within the wellness or hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a team.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of spa services, treatments, and wellness practices.
  • Solid understanding of financial management, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including sanitation standards.
  • Proficient in using spa management software and other office applications.
