Job Description
- Maintain and update cost accounting system and ensure accurate cost allocations across products and departments.
- Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of cost standards for materials, labor, and overhead.
- Monitor cost variances and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and supply chain teams to review bills of materials (BOMs) and routings.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports for management review.
- Conduct profitability analysis by SKU, product line, or business unit.
- Support inventory valuation and perform periodic physical inventory audits and reconciliations.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes related to production costs and COGS.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2–4 years of experience in cost accounting
- Prior experience in the Carbonated Water industry (preferred)
- Familiarity with Odoo ERP (a plus)
- Strong knowledge of cost control, budgeting, and project accounting
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
- High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
