Job Description
- Analyze and monitor manufacturing costs, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed cost reports and present findings to management for informed decision-making.
- Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to track material, labor, and overhead costs.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities related to production costs.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory and production processes to validate cost data.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes by reconciling cost accounts.
- Evaluate and improve cost control procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Prepare cost estimates for new products, projects, or process changes.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all cost accounting activities.
Job Requirements
● Experience with Odoo system is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- ● 4-7 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- ● Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, practices, and standards.
- ● Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- ● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- ● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- ● Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- ● Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- ● Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
