Job Description
● Develop and implement cost accounting systems and procedures to accurately capture production and operational costs.
● Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
● Monitor and review inventory transactions, ensuring accurate valuation and reconciliation of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
● Collaborate with production, procurement, and finance teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive process improvements.
● Prepare detailed cost analysis for new products, projects, or process changes, supporting business decisions with financial insights.
● Oversee the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and recommendations for corrective actions.
● Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant accounting standards.
● Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to costing.
● Train and mentor junior costing staff, fostering a culture of accuracy and continuous learning.
● Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in cost management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- 2 - 4 years of experience in the same field.
- SAP experience is preferred.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Excellent English Language.
