Analyze and monitor manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead, to ensure accurate product costing.
Prepare and review cost reports, variance analyses, and profitability studies to support management decision-making.
Collaborate with production, procurement, and inventory teams to track and reconcile inventory movements and cost allocations.
Assist in the development and maintenance of standard costing systems and update cost standards as needed.
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities related to cost accounting and inventory valuation.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement within the manufacturing and supply chain operations.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing detailed cost analysis and projections.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant accounting standards.
Prepare documentation and schedules for internal and external audits related to cost accounting.
Provide training and guidance to junior staff or cross-functional teams on cost accounting principles and best practices.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2-5 years of proven experience in cost accounting.
Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory management, and standard costing systems.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.
Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver accurate reports.
Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
