Job Description
As a Senior Projects Engineer, you will play a key role in overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex water and wastewater treatment projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage resources, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the mechanical construction activities for water and wastewater treatment projects.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
Oversee procurement, installation, and civil works to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Manage project handover to clients and ensure smooth transition to the operations team.
Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in project management, preferably in water and wastewater treatment or related industries.
Skills:
Strong project management and leadership skills.
Proficiency in CAD software and project management tools.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of HSE standards and regulations.
Certifications: PMP or equivalent certification is a plus
