Job Description
- Material Scheduling: Develop and maintain material schedules to meet production requirements and minimize downtime.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and manage stock to ensure availability of materials.
- Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain issues.
- Demand Forecasting: Analyze production plans and forecasts to determine material requirements and adjust orders accordingly.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance material planning efficiency and reduce costs.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of material transactions, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
- Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks related to material shortages and supply chain disruptions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in material planning, inventory management, or supply chain management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems and inventory management software.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
