Job Description

  • End-to-End Import Management: Oversee the entire import process from purchase order placement to final delivery, ensuring efficiency and adherence to timelines.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Prepare, review, and manage all import documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin. Ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant with customs regulations and company policies.
  • Customs Clearance: Liaise with customs brokers and government agencies to facilitate the smooth and timely clearance of all inbound shipments. Stay abreast of all changes in customs laws and regulations.
  • Shipment Tracking and Coordination: Monitor and track the status of all incoming shipments, providing regular updates to internal stakeholders. Proactively identify and resolve any potential delays or issues.
  • Vendor and Supplier Liaison: Maintain strong relationships with international suppliers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners. Negotiate freight rates and service level agreements to optimize costs.
  • Cost Management: Review and approve all import-related invoices. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement within the import supply chain.
  • Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all import transactions. Prepare and present regular reports on import activities, key performance indicators (KPIs), and costs to management.

Job Requirements

We are looking to hire an Import Operations Executive with the following requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in Freight Forwarding is a must
  • Maximum Age is 35 years
  • Very good English language writing, speaking
  • Ability to handle all communications with agents
  • Key Skills: Client Relationships, Ability to sale with confidence, Presentation skills.
  • Location: Mohandessin.Giza
  • Working Hours : 8:30 a.m. To 4:30 p.m
  • Days Off: Friday + Saturday
