Job Description
- Performing all procurement activities including pre-qualification, negotiating supplier agreements and preparation of contracts.
- Developing strong relationships with business stakeholders and strategic supply partners to improve business.
- Purchase supply of products/materials.
- Determine the lowest cost for products/materials.
- Track and record orders.
- Receive orders and document a Manage supply base.
- Analyse market and delivery systems.
- Source and interview vendors; negotiate contracts and costs.
- Prepare requisitions and purchase orders.
- Monitor order expenses.
- Communicate performances and costs to management.
- Organize and schedule procurements in a timely manner.
- Recommend new processes or systems for improvement; implement new ideas and strategies.
- Communicate with vendors, clients, customers, team members, and managers to align goal.
- File and maintain all procurement documents and contracts and keep the Corporate Procurement Manager informed.
- Perform any other related job duties as requested by direct supervisor.
Job Requirements
- 4:5 Years Experience in procurement (IT Industry)
- SAP User is A must
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.
- Ability to purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets.
- Ability to Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes and new projects and activities.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders / GRPO
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or disputes.
- Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities and supplier information.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Work closely with the finance and inventory teams to forecast demand and budget accordingly.
- Responsible for following up the purchasing orders Tracking them and making the requested purchasing operations and procedures.
- Continuously seek opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements in the procurement process.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- APICS Certificates is a plus
