Job Description
Position: R&D Chemist– Formulation – Meknès
O’dassia Peintures, a company specializing in the design and marketing of ecological paints, is seeking to strengthen its R&D team by hiring an *R&D Engineer – Formulation*.
Responsibilities:
1. Research & Development:
- Design and formulate new paints according to product specifications and market requirements.
- Analyze test results and adjust formulations accordingly.
2.Quality Control:
- Develop and implement quality control methods to ensure compliance of finished products.
- Conduct physico-chemical analyses and performance testing of paint samples.
- Interpret test results and propose corrective actions when needed.
3. Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of all lab activities, including experimental data, testing protocols, and results.
- Prepare detailed technical reports on research projects and test outcomes.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
4.Technology Watch:
- Keep up with technological developments in paint chemistry and related materials.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking to assess strengths and weaknesses of competitor products compared to ours.
Job Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in Chemistry, Formulation Science, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in R&D within the paint or coatings industry, including team management and project leadership.
- Strong knowledge of ecological formulations, raw materials, and industrial paint production processes.
- Analytical thinker, result-driven, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Fluent in English.
