Job Description
- Handling Air & sea shipments on EXW basis deliveries to ensure that goods are shipped in the most timely & efficient manner.
- Approach carriers to get shipping quotations , negotiate on freight cost to minimize cost & get highest tier service.
- Communicate with shipping lines / forwarders to place booking , final shipping instructions & handle full shipment operation till arrival at warehouse.
- Communicate with local banks to prepare & execute overseas wire transfers after liaising with finance team & handle full shipping documents to receive form 4.
- Communicate & liaise with overseas suppliers to plan & ship our seasonal orders to meet fashion stores stock requirements on time.
- Arrange & handle all shipping documents ( BL , COO , PL & CI ) within agreed timeframe.
- Communication with clearance agents to clear goods from custom ports.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field.
- 3 to 6 years experience in import , shipping lines or Freight forwarding.
- Good knowledge & experience in custom clearance.
- Good knowledge of Import regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure, maintain accuracy and keep to deadlines
- Ability to negotiate & communicate at all levels.
- MS office proficiency.
