Job Description
We are looking for a professional Talent Acquisition Specialist with proven experience in:
- Actively sourcing and identifying top candidates through LinkedIn, professional recruitment groups, and various job platforms.
- Skilled “talent hunting” particularly for engineering and technical positions.
- Recruiting site engineers in various specialties (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, etc.) for energy, oil & gas, and petrochemical projects.
- Sourcing and hiring remote software professionals (Software Developers, Designers, and Support Engineers) for opportunities in the Gulf market.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.
- Source, screen, and shortlist candidates using job boards, social media, and professional networks.
- Conduct initial interviews and coordinate technical assessments to evaluate candidate suitability.
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Facilitate communication between candidates and hiring teams, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Assist in employer branding initiatives to attract top talent to OYA ENERGY.
- Organize and participate in virtual and in-person career events and job fairs.
- Prepare and extend job offers, negotiate terms, and manage onboarding processes.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal recruitment policies.
Job Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or a related HR function. preferably within the energy or tech sectors.
- Strong command of advanced LinkedIn sourcing techniques (LinkedIn Recruiter is a plus).
- Solid understanding of technical job requirements in engineering and software fields.
- Proven ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of sourcing techniques and candidate assessment methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with candidates and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HR software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and business needs.
