Job Description
- Prepare, review, and update MEP shop drawings and as-built drawings in compliance with project specifications.
- Develop and manage Revit models for MEP systems and ensure accurate coordination with architectural and structural models.
- Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues using Revit/BIM tools.
- Review design drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and constructability.
- Supervise site installation works and ensure compliance with approved drawings and technical standards.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines for smooth integration of MEP systems.
- Prepare quantity take-offs, material submittals, and RFIs related to MEP systems.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring for MEP activities.
- Ensure compliance with international codes, local regulations, and safety standards.
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–7 years of experience as an MEP engineer in construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of MEP design, installation, and commissioning.
- Proficiency in Revit (BIM) for MEP modeling and coordination.
- Strong experience in preparing and reviewing shop drawings and as-built drawings.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Navisworks (for clash detection), and MS Office.
- Understanding of international standards and local building codes.
