Job Description

A GL Accountant is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of a company's financial records by recording, verifying, and reconciling financial transactions. They play a pivotal role in the financial reporting process and provide timely and accurate financial information to support organizational decision-making.

 


 

Job Requirements

  • Job Description 
  1. Prepare a monthly bank reconciliation.
  2. Review all accounting transactions and ensure all entries are recorded correctly based on required approval, POs, allocated cost centers, and GL accounts.
  3. Prepare & confirm accounts reconciliations with related parties & sister companies.
  4. Perform month-end closing entries and currency revaluation.
  5. Review periodical tax reconciliation with tax authorities.
  6. Ensure the Company’s compliance with General accounting standards.
  7. Provide periodic financial reports.
  8. Maintain all GL entries.

Job Requirements

  1. A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  2. 2-5 Years of Experience
  3. Communication proficiency
  4. Teamwork
  5. Proficiency in MS Office
  6. Time Management
  7. Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems:  Odoo is a plus.
  8. Solid understanding of accounting principles; IFRS Certified (preferably)
