Job Description
- Supervise all regular accounting processes such as A/P and Journal Entries plus monthly closure accounts.
- Journal entries and non-salary transfers.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Monthly and year-end closings.
- Analyze different general ledger accounts regularly.
- Preparation of financial status reports for government agencies.
- Manage and maintain finance related programs and documents inclusive of future plans and programs.
- Organize all company financial programs and ensure compliance to budgetary requirements.
- Handing and recording internal financial transactions as well as financial transaction with the company’s clients and affiliates.
- Applying all Accounting functions for a specific site.
- Handling day to day accounts transactions.
- Verification of bills receivables & payable.
- Handling petty cash maintenance.
- Handling supplier bill payments.
- Files management & knowledge of labor payments.
- Communicate and report to accounting supervisor for all actions taken.
- Review weekly time sheets, along with the accounting group.
- Prepare and submits weekly progress reports.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Accounting.
- Preferred exp. in construction field.
- Construction background.
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Accounting Supervisor, chief or senior accountant.
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
- Awareness of business trends.
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
