Job Description
- Develop and execute category strategies for beverages and food products to maximize sales, profitability, and market share.
- Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and inform product assortment decisions.
- Collaborate with procurement, sales, and marketing teams to ensure optimal product selection, pricing, and promotional activities.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and exclusive agreements.
- Monitor category performance metrics, including sales, margins, inventory turnover, and customer satisfaction, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Lead new product launches and manage the lifecycle of existing products within the category.
- Work closely with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure efficient inventory management and timely product availability.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, retail partners, and sub-distributors.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on category performance, forecasts, and strategic initiatives for senior management.
- Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends to maintain a competitive edge.

Supplier & Product Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and promotional support to maximize profitability.
- Evaluate and onboard new products and suppliers in line with category strategy.
Sales & Marketing Collaboration
- Work closely with the Trade Marketing Manager to develop in-store and channel-specific activations.
- Support the sales team with product knowledge, pricing strategies, and promotional materials.
- Coordinate with the Quanta Academy Manager to ensure training and menu development reflect category priorities.
Performance Monitoring
- Track category performance (sales, margin, inventory turnover) and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Conduct regular business reviews with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Manage product lifecycle, including rationalization of underperforming SKUs.
