Job Description
- Receive, review, and archive all technical drawings and documents related to wood works (e.g., shop drawings, cutting lists, BOQs, material specifications).
- Maintain both soft and hard copies of documents and ensure proper version control for revisions.
- Distribute updated and approved documents to relevant departments (design, production, installation).
- Establish and maintain document numbering and filing systems according to company or project document control procedures.
- Coordinate with technical office engineers to send/receive drawings and approvals on time.
- Prepare and maintain transmittals, logs, and registers for incoming and outgoing documents.
- Ensure confidentiality and proper security of sensitive project information.
- Archive contracts, meeting minutes, and project correspondence for joinery works.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in document control, preferably in joinery, or fit-out projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with Document Management Systems (e.g., Aconex, EDMS, SharePoint) is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
