Job Description
• Safeguard Arma Group’s interests and rights by assuring that all corporate activities adhere to the applicable Egyptian laws and complying with the Regulators’ directives.
• Diligently Draft/review/amend various types of legal documents and contracts in a manner that maintains the highest standards of accuracy and quality.
• Arrange for BoDs/GAs/EGAs meetings/documentation/ratification end-to-end.
• Participate in direct investments/mega projects committees, to ensure full compliance with all Egyptian laws and other contractual obligations in a swift and timely manner including the revision of all related documents/licenses in addition to providing the related legal advises/research.
• Protect Arma Group’s IPs and Trademarks rights and follow up on any required renewals.
• Perform legal research to stay up to date.
• Contribute to the technical negotiations with contractors, vendors…etc. when required.
• Develop and enforce standard contract templates and approval processes.
• Participate in the formation of all required committees/investigations to assist in taking the right legal decisions in compliance with the Egyptian laws.
• Follow up on the legal services provided by the external law firms when required.
• Maintain electronic archive of all work/legal research…etc. to be available upon request.
• Standardize corporate contracts to reduce time/cost and avoid risks.
• Cooperate with other functions to build processes to be followed across Arma Group.
• Liaise with litigation team to bridge any shortfalls in Arma contracts that cause new litigation.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in law or a similar discipline.
• Proficiency in corporate law.
• English Language Fluency.
• Prior experience working as a corporate section head or a related job role, Law Firm experience is a plus.
• Accuracy and high attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently.
