Accounts Receivable Collection Accountant

1. Monitoring and maintaining accounts receivable records and ensuring accuracy and completeness. 

2. Preparing and submitting invoices to customers and clients and following up on outstanding payments. 

3. Performing credit checks and setting credit limits for customers. 

4. Resolving payment discrepancies and disputes. 

5. Communicating with customers or clients via phone, email, or mail to collect payments. 

6. Collaborating with internal departments, such as sales and customer service, to resolve billing issues. 

7. Reconciling accounts and preparing reports on receivables status and aging analysis. 

8. Proposing and implementing strategies for improving cash flow and reducing outstanding receivables. 

9. Creating and updating policies and procedures for billing and collection processes. 

10. Staying updated with changes in accounting standards and regulations related to accounts receivable management.
