Job Description

Job Purpose:
The main purpose of this job is to make sure the company receives payments from business customers on time and to help maintain strong and positive relationships with them. The Collection Officer is responsible for managing the collections process, solving payment issues, and ensuring that all collection activities are done correctly and recorded in the ERP system (Odoo). This role supports the company’s cash flow and helps keep financial operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage collecting overdue payments from business customers following company rules and deadlines.
  • Make sure all collection activities are recorded clearly and on time in the ERP system (Odoo).
  • Communicate with customers professionally using emails, reports, and phone calls, making sure messages are clear and correct.
  • Follow up on late payments actively, using negotiation and problem-solving skills to fix payment problems.
  • Prepare detailed reports about the collection status, showing important numbers and giving useful suggestions to managers.
  • Work with other departments to quickly solve disputes and help customers make payments.
  • Keep accurate and detailed records of all work.
  • Always communicate with customers in a professional manner and focus on fostering constructive and long-term business relationships.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in collection work, preferably with business customers (B2B).
  • Strong skills in communication, negotiation, and following up.
  • Good knowledge and experience with ERP systems, especially Odoo.
  • Good English writing skills to write emails and reports.
  • Very careful and organized in work.
  • Professional, respectful, and diplomatic when dealing with others.
  • Can manage many accounts at the same time and adjust to changing priorities.
