Key Responsibilities:
Teacher Observation and Feedback:
- Conduct pre-observation discussions with teachers.
- Observe teaching sessions to evaluate instructional effectiveness.
- Conduct post-observation discussions to provide feedback and guidance.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Document observations and add them to teachers’ profiles.
- Report teachers' performance to the Supervision Manager.
- Maintain up-to-date teachers’ profiles.
Student Activities:
- Create and execute extra activities for students to enhance their learning experience.
Teaching Methods and Techniques:
- Apply and experiment with new teaching methods and techniques.
- Reflect on the effectiveness of these methods and techniques.
Teacher Development and Coaching:
- Help, develop, and coach new teachers in lesson planning and preparation.
- Set professional development plans with teachers.
- Guide teachers through their professional development plans and ensure they reach their goals.
Training and Workshops:
- Design and deliver training workshops for teachers to improve their skills and knowledge.
Handling Complaints:
- Manage and resolve complaints from students and staff regarding teaching and learning issues.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in education with a specialization in English (or equivalent).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an English teacher, preferably within a similar environment.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
