As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and results-driven Plant Manager to oversee our factory operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and excellence in all production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Lead and manage all aspects of factory operations, including production, maintenance, quality, and logistics, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop the plant team, fostering a culture of collaboration, efficiency, and accountability.
- Production Planning: Oversee production schedules to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products while optimizing resource utilization.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products meet company standards and regulatory requirements, working closely with the Quality Control team.
- Cost Management: Monitor and control operational costs, driving efficiency improvements to meet financial targets.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment and compliance with local regulations. Meet NFSA Requirements
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, implement best practices, and drive innovation in plant operations.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present operational reports to senior management, highlighting performance metrics, challenges, and recommendations.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in plant or factory management, preferably in the FMCG, food, or chocolate production industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of leading diverse teams.
- Excellent understanding of production processes, supply chain management, and quality standards.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Proficiency in operational management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
