Job Description
- Ensure the factory complies with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal HSE requirements and industry best practices.
- Perform regular risk assessments of factory operations and processes.
- Identify unsafe conditions, equipment, or practices and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop, implement, and update health and safety policies, procedures, and programs.
- Ensure all employees understand and adhere to these policies.
- Conduct training sessions on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and proper equipment usage.
- Promote a safety culture through awareness programs, posters, and workshops.
- Investigate workplace accidents, near-misses, and incidents to determine root causes.
- Prepare detailed reports and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans and conduct periodic drills.
- Ensure the availability of first aid kits, fire extinguishers, and other emergency equipment.
- Work closely with department heads, supervisors, and employees to address safety concerns.
- Liaise with external bodies such as regulatory agencies, auditors, or inspectors.
- Maintain records of safety inspections, training, incidents, and corrective actions.
- Prepare and present periodic safety performance reports to management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the health and safety field
- Computer oriented
- Preferred resident in 6th of October
- Skill in performing safety inspections ensuring compliance with OSHA and safety standards.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
- Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
- Ability to develop, implement, and enforce safety programs and protocols.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively to emergencies.
- Skill in developing safety procedures and protocols.
- Ability to investigate and analyze information and draw conclusions.
