Key Responsibilities:
Ensure translations are accurate, contextually appropriate, and culturally sensitive.
- Provide real-time verbal interpretation during meetings, conferences, or phone calls.
- Facilitate communication between Turkish- and English-speaking individuals.
- Review and edit translated materials to ensure linguistic and contextual accuracy.
- Verify grammar, syntax, and style consistency in translated texts.
- Work closely with the managers, clients, or stakeholders to clarify terminology and context.
- Support cross-functional teams by translating key materials to aid communication.
- Advise on cultural nuances to ensure communication aligns with the audience’s expectations.
- Adapt materials for specific cultural or regional differences when necessary
- Maintain records of translated materials for future reference.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Turkish, English, or a related field.
- Certification in translation or interpretation is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Turkish-English translator or interpreter.
- Excellent spoken and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of grammar, syntax, and idiomatic expressions in both languages.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to adapt to different audiences.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
