Job Description
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing project costs from concept through execution. You will work closely with architects, interior designers, and landscape planners to develop accurate BOQs, cost estimates, technical specifications, and tender packages. This role is crucial in ensuring that our creative ideas are delivered within budget and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for architecture, interior, and landscape projects.
• Develop budget estimates across design phases (concept, schematic, detailed).
• Draft and review technical specifications for materials and finishes.
• Collaborate with design teams to align project scope with financial feasibility.
• Support the tendering process, including document preparation and contractor evaluation.
• Conduct cost analysis, value engineering, and material comparisons.
• Track cost variations and provide advice on budget impact.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and contractors when needed.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in a design firm, consultancy, or construction environment.
Technical Skills:
• Proficient in Excel, AutoCAD, and BOQ preparation tools.
• Familiarity with cost databases and market pricing for Egypt and Gulf region.
• Good understanding of local building codes, materials, and construction methods.
Soft Skills:
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
