Job Description
- Prepare and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications for construction projects.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Conduct quantity surveying and prepare bills of quantities and material take-offs.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of technical submittals and shop drawings.
- Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
- Provide technical support and solutions to site teams during construction phases.
- Review and validate contractor and supplier invoices against completed work.
- Participate in value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of all technical office activities.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations in all technical office operations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in a technical office or construction engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Proficiency in Shop drawing, AutoCAD, Primavera, Revit, and other engineering design software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Experience with quantity surveying and cost estimation.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
