Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the accounting department, ensuring accuracy in financial records.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets in line with company policies and accounting standards.
- Manage the cost accounting process, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Handle all aspects of import and export accounting, including cost analysis and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with the Tax Authority and manage tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with local laws.
- Collaborate with the legal office to ensure proper documentation and adherence to tax regulations.
- Monitor and control company expenditures, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Provide leadership and support to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Job Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Chief Accountant in the manufacturing and industrial sectors but 10 years at least as overall experience
- Extensive experience in import and export operations, including import procedures and cost analysis.
- Strong knowledge of accounting systems, financial statements, and cost accounting in accordance with the latest accounting standards.
- Experience in dealing with the Tax Authority and coordinating tax procedures with the legal office.
- Additional certification (CPA, IFRs or CMA) is a plus
- Must be a resident of New Cairo or surrounding areas.
- Male candidates only, aged between 40 and 45 years.
- Must have solid experience in manufacturing and import companies, and solid experience in financial statements with latest accounting standards
