Job Description
Planning:
Contribute to developing and implementing the internal audit department’s quarterly plan, ensuring that audit activities are carried out with minimal disruption to the day-to-day operations of various departments. This should be done through full coordination, integration, and mutual understanding with all relevant departments.
1- Analysis and Evaluation:
Apply analytical and evaluation methods by reviewing random or targeted samples of documents and records (including contracts), reports, standard operating procedures, financial analyses, benchmarks, and business plans. The goal is to verify compliance with internal audit procedures, company policies, strategic objectives, and the approved work plan.
2- Initiatives:
Support and contribute to initiatives that aim to reduce financial and operational risks, and ensure departments receive relevant and effective recommendations to mitigate risks and optimize costs.
3- External Audit Coordination:
Facilitate communication and coordination with external auditors by providing necessary information and reports to help ensure the accuracy of financial data and compliance with applicable procedures.
4- Support and Collaboration:
Provide the necessary support to enhance coordination and promote effective collaboration between departments, thereby facilitating audit-related activities.
5- Reporting:
Participate in establishing a regular reporting system, define timelines for completion, ensure the quality of reports, and ensure adherence to issuance deadlines. Contribute to presenting audit findings to senior management to support informed and effective decision-making.
Job Requirements
- Relevant university degree – Bachelor's in Commerce.
- A Master’s degree is preferred (e.g., MBA).
- Professional certifications such as CIA or CMA are an advantage.
- 8–10 years of experience in the audit field, including at least 5 years in the industrial sector.
