Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain costing systems, procedures, and databases.
- Prepare cost estimates for new products, processes, and business initiatives.
- Analyze manufacturing, supply chain, and operational costs to identify inefficiencies.
- Conduct variance analysis between standard, actual, and forecasted costs.
- Provide detailed cost reports and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.
- Monitor and control material, labor, and overhead costs.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate costing data.
- Lead product costing, pricing analysis, and margin improvement initiatives.
- Manage annual budgeting and cost planning cycles.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements.
- Supervise and guide costing/accounting staff, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s / CMA / CPA is a plus).
- Manufacturing background is a MUST
- IFRS certification is a plus
- Cairo and East Cairo residents is a must
- Proven experience (15 years) in costing, management accounting, or financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
