Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior SEO Specialist to join our fast-growing startup. As a Senior SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for driving the organic growth of our online presence, optimizing our website for search engines, and increasing organic traffic and conversions. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, visibility, and traffic.
- -Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to identify relevant search terms and opportunities for optimization.
- Optimize website content, including meta tags, headings, URLs, and on-page elements, to improve search engine rankings.
- Conduct technical SEO audits and collaborate with web developers to resolve website issues that may impact search visibility.
- Develop and implement advanced link building strategies to improve website authority and search rankings.
- Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools, such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console, and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and best practices in SEO, and apply them to enhance performance.
- Collaborate with content creators to develop and optimize SEO-friendly content that aligns with keyword strategies.
- Monitor and report on key SEO metrics, such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Provide recommendations and guidance to improve website structure, navigation, and user experience from an SEO perspective.
- Stay informed about emerging SEO trends, tools, and strategies, and suggest innovative approaches to drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and development, to ensure SEO best practices are implemented throughout the organization. - Mentor and guide junior SEO team members, sharing expertise and promoting their professional growth.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as agencies or influencers, to support SEO initiatives.
Job Requirements
-Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
-5+ years of experience as an SEO Specialist or in a similar role, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
-Proven track record of driving organic growth, improving search engine rankings, and increasing organic traffic and conversions.
-In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and advanced SEO techniques.
-Proficiency in using SEO tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, keyword research tools, and SEO audit tools.
-Strong technical SEO skills and experience with website optimization, including URL structure, site speed, and mobile optimization.
-Advanced understanding of on-page and off-page SEO factors, including content optimization, link building, and schema markup.
-Solid analytical skills and ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate
-complex SEO strategies and recommendations.
-Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
-Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
-Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for staying ahead in the ever-evolving field of SEO.
-Experience with local SEO, international SEO, e-commerce SEO, or technical SEO audits is a plus.
