Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to lead our commercial strategy and drive significant revenue growth. The CCO will be a pivotal member of the executive team, responsible for all commercial aspects of the business, including sales, marketing, business development, and customer relationship management. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in the real estate, or construction sectors, capable of identifying new market opportunities, optimizing commercial operations, and building high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute comprehensive commercial strategies aligned with company objectives to accelerate growth, expand market share, and achieve aggressive revenue targets. This includes conducting thorough market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
- Sales & Marketing Leadership: Oversee and optimize sales and marketing functions, including the development and management of budgets, sales strategies across key market segments, and customer acquisition initiatives. Ensure effective control of marketing results and alignment of digital and trade marketing campaigns with overall commercial plans.
- Business Development & Partnerships: Build and nurture strategic relationships with investors, clients, and key stakeholders to foster sustained collaboration and unlock new business opportunities. Drive the commercialization infrastructure to enhance market adoption of the company's solutions.
- Product & Service Innovation: Lead Category Directors to drive product development, market-specific portfolio adjustments, and innovation. Oversee the successful launch, positioning, pricing, and promotion of new products and services tailored to meet customer requirements and regional preferences.
- Operational Oversight & Financial Performance: Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape and industry developments. Oversee company operations in accordance with strategic plans, review financial and non-financial reports to assess business performance, and monitor/assess operational and financial risks. Collaborate with the finance team to optimize cost structures and improve revenue margins.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, motivate, and mentor diverse commercial teams (e.g., marketing, sales, customer service, collections, legal affairs), fostering a high-performing culture focused on excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. Ensure effective CRM initiatives to boost customer loyalty and satisfaction.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience in senior commercial leadership roles within the real estate, consulting, or construction industries, with a demonstrable track record of driving revenue growth, market expansion, and successful commercialization initiatives.
- Leadership & Team Management: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing, cross-functional teams. Experience in managing diverse departments and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Strategic & Analytical Acumen: Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret market trends, assess risks, and make data-driven decisions.
- Business & Financial Acumen: Excellent business acumen with a deep understanding of commercial operations, financial management, budgeting, and investment decisions.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Results-Oriented & Client-Centric: Highly results-oriented with a strong focus on achieving and exceeding targets, coupled with a client-centric approach to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
