Job Description
We have a current opening for which we invite interested and eligible internal candidates to apply; namely Product Manager (GI Portfolio) as per the following details:
Designation: Product Manager
Job Grade : MA002
Location: The successful candidate will be based in Cairo HQ - Sheraton Heliopolis
Responsibilities:
§ Own the development of the value proposition by chairing the team meeting and seeking inputs across relevant functions
§ Develop long term brand strategy and forecast by leveraging cross-functional support to ensure set forecast accuracy target percentage is fulfilled
§ Monitor changes in the environment including changes in stakeholder importance and stakeholders needs affecting the product
§ Monitor competitor activities and performance
§ Create innovative solutions within product strategy
§ Develop and drive implementation of marketing plan
§ Organize local promotional activities
§ Develop EEs engagement plans within product strategy and empower Medical Scientific Liaisons for delivering in-field implementation
§ Deliver product specific training to the sales force
§ Define and monitor appropriate KPIs to assess product performance
§ Build knowledge of patients, payers, partners, customers and competition
§ Develop broad knowledge of stakeholder, customers, segments and behaviors and leverages this for innovative ideas and interventions
§ Develop and drive implementation of marketing plan
§ Manage designated products to achieve short and long-term operating results in line with the Product Marketing Plan
§ Research new market opportunities for product development and growth through internal and external communications
§ Monitor changes in the environment including changes in stakeholder importance and stakeholder’s needs affecting the product
§ Monitor competitor activities and performance
§ Establish long lasting and professional partnership with External Experts/ KOLs
§ Assess the effectiveness of product strategies and monitor market intelligence
§ Develop broad knowledge of stakeholder, customers, segments and behaviors and leverage this for innovative ideas and interventions
§ Learn how to develop, monitor, evaluate and control A & P budget
§ Market and product trends research, analysis and forecast
Accountability:
§ Product Manger role reports to Group Product Manager
§ Identify key market drivers, challenges that affect both the market segments trend
§ Monitor performance on a monthly basis and take the corrective actions to ensure achieving objectives
§ Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements
§ Close liaison with the field force to assess the response to and suitability of current promotional material and to ensure that the printed promotional material is being used optimally
§ Ensure new product launches follow strictly the comany launch excellence practice
§ Delivers results through others
§ Oversight team AV activities , group meetings and CME programs by discussing the plan and tracking the implementation and their efficiency and effectiveness
§ Identification of customer needs and insights and align brand strategy accordingly
§ Conduct market research with preferred third parties to reach a conclusion about specific brand related matters
§ Control and monitor brand R & A in line with agreed commercial strategy
Job Requirements
Specialized Knowledge:
§ Bachelors degree preferably Pharmacy/Medicine
§ Informative, experience, referred leadership skills
§ Professional analytical thinking and problem solving approach
§ Project management skills
§ Planning and organization capability
§ Ability to be pro-active with a sense of urgency
§ Enthusiasm for working in collaborative, cross-functional teams
§ Willingness to innovate, explore new ideas and acquire new skills
Strong presentation and general communication skills (written, verbal and listening)
