About the Role:
Merqah Foundation is seeking a skilled and strategic HR Supervisor to lead and strengthen our Human Resources operations. This role goes beyond routine HR tasks — we’re looking for someone who can foster a high-performing work culture, ensure compliance with HR policies, and support the organization’s growth and employee engagement goals.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage core HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
• Develop and enforce HR policies, procedures, and standards.
• Provide guidance to managers on employee performance, development, and conflict resolution.
• Analyze HR data and metrics to support informed decision-making.
• Mentor and support the HR team to enhance efficiency and accountability.
• Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive matters.
Job Requirements
Education & Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR role.
At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory position.
Previous experience in the nonprofit or charitable sector is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.) or Microsoft Office.
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance standards.
Experience using HR systems and software.
Core Competencies:
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
