Job Description
- Develop and maintain production plans to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels.
- Monitor and track production progress, identifying any potential delays or issues and implementing solutions to ensure on-time delivery.
- Coordinate with internal teams including production, procurement, and logistics to ensure seamless workflow and communication.
- Analyze data and trends to forecast future production needs and make strategic recommendations for process improvements.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to secure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of suppliers and vendors to ensure quality and reliability.
- Implement best practices in planning and follow-up processes to streamline operations and reduce costs.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for management on production status, KPIs, and recommendations for improvement.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a planning or production follow-up role within the garment or apparel industry.
- Strong understanding of garment manufacturing processes (cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing).
- Experience coordinating between production, planning, and merchandising departments.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or garment-specific systems).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing or production efficiency principles is a plus.
- Good command of English (spoken and written) is preferred
- It is preferred to be located in Ismailia.
