Job Description
- Update the course catalog, create course sections, and set prerequisites each semester.
- Handle registration for new students and late registration requests.
- Manage drop/add requests after the online registration period closes.
- Maintain and audit student records in PowerCampus (or other SIS), including updates to registration, major changes, withdrawals, semester drops, and graduation eligibility.
- Prepare required reports for the Ministry of Higher Education and collaborate with the finance team to ensure data accuracy.
- Process and record transfer credits in the Student Information System (SIS).
- Administer academic scholarships in collaboration with relevant departments and communicate updates to the finance team.
- Update student records each semester and generate enrollment reports; develop follow-up plans for unenrolled students.
- Respond to inquiries regarding registration procedures, deadlines, required documents, and academic calendars via email or direct communication.
- Oversee the main campus transfer process, including eligibility checks, coordination with departments, and liaison with the international office.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Administration, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in student registration or academic administration.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficient in Student Information Systems (e.g., PowerCampus, Ellucian, Banner).
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel and Word.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Thorough understanding of academic procedures and student services.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and coordination skills across departments.
