Senior Receivables Accountant

Job Purpose :

overseeing the recording, reconciliation, and clearance of credit transactions, this role ensures adherence to internal policies and procedures while maintaining strong communication with internal departments and external stakeholders. 

Accountabilities:

•  Handle all cancellation or reversal requests in the SAP system for documents or entries, ensuring alignment with Sales department justifications and approvals before approving reversals.
•  Record all credit documents in the SAP system, ensuring accuracy and alignment with credit payment terms established by Section Head and Supervisor. 
• Receive and process amounts for specific distributors and accounts in the SAP system, performing necessary transactions and clearances. 
• Review and revise documents for discrepancies or missing payments, coordinating with the credit union to update and clear accounts for receivables transactions.
• Daily review and revision of orders in the SAP system to ensure accurate invoicing and reflection in the General Ledger, securing the company's rights for claiming dates.
• Record repeat payments received from the committee, ensuring accurate allocation and consideration of discounts and promotions. 
• Compare and validate repeat payments approved by top management, ensuring accuracy in amounts and distributor allocations before recording in distributor accounts.
