Job Description
- Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures that align with AGreen & Fruity company's overall business objectives.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and enhanced efficiency across the logistics network.
- Oversee all transportation activities, including carrier selection, negotiation of rates and contracts, route optimization, shipment tracking, and performance monitoring.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods via road, sea, and air as required.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the logistics team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Evaluate and implement relevant logistics technologies and systems to improve efficiency, visibility, and decision-making.
- Identify and implement sustainable logistics practices, considering environmental impact, ethical sourcing, and long-term viability.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 15 years of Proven experience in managing complex logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and customs.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Knowledge of international trade and customs procedures.
- Strong understanding of logistics principles, practices, and regulations.
