Chief Accounting Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant / Chief Accountant to lead the finance function in a mid-sized company. The role involves managing all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial standards, and overseeing revenue, expense allocation, and project-based accruals. You will work directly on the Odoo ERP system to maintain accurate financial records, support decision-making, and ensure the company’s financial health.

• Oversee and manage the company’s full accounting cycle.
• Operate and maintain financial data within the Odoo ERP system.
• Apply and monitor financial standards for revenue recognition, expense allocation, and accruals related to projects.
• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and cash flow reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax laws, and relevant regulations.
• Monitor accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary documentation.
• Analyze financial data to support strategic decisions and project evaluations.
• Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
