Job Role:
- Sekem Development Foundation and Heliopolis University for Sustainable Development are looking for a coordinator Partnership and Fundraising, who will be developing and implementing a strategy that enables the Sekem Initiative, which includes the Heliopolis University (HU), to achieve its ambitious future vision goals. The work will focus on supporting Sekem’s management in exploring and building partnership relations for specific fields of sustainable development. An equally important part of the job is the coordination of a variety of fundraising communications and campaigns for specific projects and activities, targeting donation from the wider public and Sekem’s global network.
Responsibilities:
- Improving and implementing Sekem’s fundraising strategy.
- Developing new (funding) partnerships.
- Implementing campaigns and communications on fundable projects and activities.
- Alignment of communications and campaigns internally and with European Sekem Friends Associations.
- Raising the overall awareness on partnership and funding opportunities within the Sekem and HU organization.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor degree & Master degree is a must.
- Experience in raising donor funding through dedicated partnerships and campaigns.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
- Strong personality, capable to guide Sekem’s management in building funding relations.
- Communication skills and hands-on media skills (social media, websites and other channels).
- Good networking, representational, and negotiation skills.
- Coordinating and management skills.
- Strong affinity to Sekem’s values.
