Your Challenges:
- Lead and proactively manage the communication department internally and externally as follows:
Internal communication:
- Adapt the communication channels to the audience and to the key message, also using Group-wide media.
- Create and distribute coordinated and timely key messages to employees (direct and indirect).
- Ensure that an effective internal communication structure is in place to disseminate relevant information.
- Ensure smooth information flow between country and corporate (roll-in and roll-out) to create transparency on both levels.
External communication:
- Develop a country-specific communication plan considering target and purpose of communication content, audience, as well as timing, taking into account the Corporate/divisional messaging based on the Group strategy.
- Ensure effective and prompt responses to external events and advise and provide recommendations.
- Create country-specific communication concepts to support HR in branding activities by providing methodology and know-how.
- Develop, implement and maintain public relations strategies and policies with interested parties: universities, governmental agencies, and industrial organizations.
Job Requirements
- University studies in journalism or communication management, economics or adequate qualification.
- Practical experience in corporate communications (at least 2 years) on company side, preferably in a multinational, industry-affiliate business or in a PR/communications agency.
- Experience in editorial environment (newspaper, magazine, TV/radio or news agency) would be a plus.
- Familiar with internal and external communications.
- Ability to support and consult management and experts in communication topics.
- Strong social skills and willingness to network.
- Intercultural experience (international teams) is an advantage.
- Understanding of macro economic basics.
- Fluent in English and Arabic is a must. Other languages are an asset.
