Job Description
- Lead and supervise the technical team responsible for sample development.
- Analyze style complexity, provide machine layouts, and guide sewing operators and supervisors during new style introductions
- Identify and resolve technical challenges in sewing methods, construction, and machinery to maximize efficiency and minimize defects.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement tools (e.g., Lean, SMV reduction, method study).
- Oversee technician performance, provide coaching and development, and ensure adherence to customer technical standards.
- Communicate with international clients and auditors when required regarding technical validations or product compliance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in garment manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or section head role.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, industrial engineering, and sewing technology.
- Hands-on experience with technical files, style breakdown, SMV calculation, and line feeding.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with global compliance and quality standards (e.g., Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, etc.).
