Job Description
- Develop and manage consolidated production plans across all factories based on order requirements.
- Coordinate with merchandising, cutting, sewing, and finishing teams to ensure accurate and realistic production schedules.
- Monitor daily and weekly production progress, identifying delays and proposing solutions.
- Balance capacity and load across different factories based on skills, machine availability, and deadlines.
- Review order consumption, style complexity, and efficiency to allocate production accordingly.
- Optimize use of machinery and workforce through proactive planning and scenario analysis.
- Ensure proper communication and coordination among planning teams at the factory level.
- Generate planning reports and performance indicators for management.
- Support continuous improvement in planning processes and tools.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in production planning in the garment/textile industry.
- Strong understanding of garment production processes, SMV, line balancing, and capacity management.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP or planning software is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and team leadership abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple factory schedules simultaneously.
