PRODUCTION MANAGER
Job Description

• Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products to clients and outlets.
• Oversee all aspects of production, from preparation to final packaging, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
• Supervise and manage production staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
• Ensure that production lines run smoothly and that any issues are addressed promptly to minimize delays.
• Implement and monitor quality control processes to guarantee compliance with food safety regulations and customer expectations.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure production processes are consistently followed and products are safe for consumption.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, ingredients, and packaging supplies to ensure smooth production operations without overstocking or shortages.
• Coordinate with warehouse management to ensure efficient stock rotation and minimize waste, especially for perishable goods.
• Oversee production costs and implement strategies to optimize resource use, reduce waste, and improve cost efficiency.
• Analyze production costs and find opportunities for improvements in processes to increase profitability.
• Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of production staff, ensuring that all team members are trained in proper production methods, safety, and food hygiene.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address any personnel issues or conflicts within the production team.
• Schedule shifts and allocate resources based on production demands, ensuring sufficient coverage for peak periods.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including food safety standards, workplace safety, and hygiene practices.
• Ensure that the production area maintains clean, sanitary conditions to comply with industry standards 
• Continuously review and improve production processes, identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions to enhance productivity.
• Work with other departments to streamline operations and improve product quality while reducing waste and downtime.
• Collaborate with the R&D, quality control, and marketing teams to develop new products or improve existing offerings.
• Maintain accurate production records, including batch reports, quality control logs, inventory usage, and employee performance.
• Prepare and present production reports to senior management
