Job Description
We are looking for an experienced International Sales Specialist to join our fast-growing international textile business. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of international trade, including developing new export markets, managing existing customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with all regulations and laws. The International Sales Specialist will be expected to have an in-depth knowledge of global trade and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement export strategies to maximize profits and minimize costs
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
- Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
- Review the available stock weekly with the warehouse team in order to sell the idle stock
- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
- Coordinate with team members to deliver goods on time and satisfy the customer requirements
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts
- Liaise with the sampling room to prepare sales catalogues
- Do costings in order to achieve required prices
- Oversee the preparation of export documentation such as invoices, packing lists and bills of lading
- Establish and manage relationships with international partners, including distributors, agents and vendors
- Monitor international regulations and compliance requirements
- Develop and maintain export databases, records and reports
- Address customer inquiries and complaints
- Seek out and manage new opportunities such as trade and networking events
- Coordinate client visits and sales trips
- Review pending orders and specific customers requests to ensure excellent customer service and customer experience

Requirements
- Proven experience in sales or in a relevant role
• Excellent knowledge of market data and dynamics
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel abroad to meet with clients and develop business relationships - Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Hands-on experience with ERP system is a plus
- Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
- Fast learner and passion for sales
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
