Job Description

  • Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Lead and support the preparation of proposals, bids, RFPs, and grant applications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather technical input, data, and project information for proposal development.
  • Write, edit, and review proposals to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with client or funder requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and industry developments to inform business development strategy.
  • Track and report on business development activities, pipeline, and proposal outcomes.
  • Support contract negotiations and follow up on submitted proposals.
  • Contribute to presentations, pitch materials, and business development reports.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (Master’s is a plus).
  • Proven experience (3–5 years) in business development, with a strong background in proposal writing and bid management.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines under pressure.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to identify and evaluate opportunities.
  • Knowledge of proposal structures, RFP processes, and funding mechanisms.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Flexibility, creativity, and a results-oriented mindset.
