Logistics Operations Executive

Job brief

A German Trading Co. is looking for a reliable “Logistics Operations Senior Executive” to be responsible for the overall supply chain management. His/Her responsibilities include organizing and monitoring the storage and distribution of goods.

The goal is to manage the entire order cycle to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Inventory as well as Warehouse, Transportation, and other logistics processes.
• Directing, optimizing, and coordinating the full order cycle.
• Develop new Strategies to streamline processes and reduce costs.
• Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met.
• Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements.
• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency
• Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes, and process shipments
• Analyze logistical problems and plan transportation routes for vehicles carrying goods.
• Operating IT systems to manage timings, costs, and stock levels
• Negotiating and agreeing on contracts with multicultural suppliers and vendors.
• Ensuring health and safety standards are met.
• Create and manage department budgets. 
• Process shipments after the purchasing team has arranged with the vendors.
