- Production Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive production plans aligned with business objectives and customer demand.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure adherence to timelines.
- Coordinate with various departments (e.g., engineering, procurement, quality) to ensure smooth production flow.
- Material Planning:
- Develop and manage inventory control systems to optimize stock levels and minimize costs.
- Forecast material requirements based on production plans and demand patterns.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Capacity Planning:
- Assess production capacity and identify bottlenecks.
- Implement strategies to improve capacity utilization and efficiency.
- Performance Analysis:
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production and material planning.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Drive initiatives to optimize production processes and reduce costs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of production and planning professionals.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to team members.
Job Requirements
- At least 5 years experience in a similar position ( coating ex are preferred )
- Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedure
- Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Relevant training and certifications related to supply chain
- Strong Knowledge of SAP
- Good Knowledge for data gathering & analysis
- Great team building and leadership skills
