We are seeking a dynamic and strategic L&D Strategic Manager to lead, grow, and transform our Learning & Development department. This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional with proven expertise in business strategy, sales, and operational leadership within the L&D or professional services sector.
You will be responsible for scaling the unit, developing innovative L&D offerings, driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, and ensuring client success.
Job Requirements
Business Strategy & Growth:
Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for the L&D business unit aligned with overall company objectives.
Identify new market opportunities, including sector-specific training solutions, digital learning products, and strategic partnerships.
Conduct market analysis and competitor benchmarking to inform product positioning and innovation.
Sales & Revenue Generation:
Own and deliver on sales targets and revenue KPIs for the L&D business unit.
Design and lead go-to-market strategies for training programs, certifications, and consultancy services.
Build and maintain a high-performing sales pipeline, nurturing leads from prospect to close.
Establish partnerships with B2B clients, government bodies, educational institutions, and industry associations.
Product Development & Innovation:
Oversee the design and launch of new L&D programs, ensuring they are relevant, scalable, and ROI-driven.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content quality and alignment with industry standards.
Integrate digital learning technologies, platforms, and trends into offerings (e.g., LMS, microlearning, AI-driven content).
Leadership & Operations:
Lead and mentor cross-functional teams including trainers, instructional designers, sales, and operations staff.
Drive operational efficiency, budget planning, and resource allocation across the unit.
Monitor client satisfaction, ensuring delivery excellence and continuous improvement.
